it's a date (lets go to the red house)

May 22, 2013

Over the long weekend we took advantage of the holiday and travelled back home. Both sets of grandparents can never get enough time with Tavi so Jay and I had the opportunity to go out, just the two of us, on a date. A real date that involved craft beer!

We went to a couple of our favourite pubs in Kingston, one of them being the Red House and had some pints. Oh how I've missed craft beer!! I wasn't adventurous at all, just stuck to my favourites because it's been so long. Waupoos cider never tasted so good! Next time I'll try some seasonals (beers that breweries put out for a limited time that you usually can't buy at the LCBO) or completely new ones.

Jay and I had a lot of fun together and I even managed to resist the urge to call and check on how Tavi was doing all night. I may have sent one or two texts but that doesn't really count. right?

  16. Good for you guys!! Just 2 texts is totally fine is my books ;) I hear it can be hard, but it's important to not lose your identity as a partner or individual to being a mother. It sounds like you'll have no trouble maintaining that balance.
