A Year In Review - 2012

Dec 31, 2012

Another year of blogging has gone by way too quickly, seriously where does the time go?!

 (outfits 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)

As usual I did a bunch of outfit posts where it's evident I have a thing for neutrals, lace and subtle prints.

Jay and I relocated to The Capital, a city we both love. It's clean with lots of green space, big enough so that it has a city feel, yet small enough to be safe. We are both went to school here and are happy to call it home :)

we ate at some cool places (like !Union!),

and found out we'd be adding a new member to our family this April!

I attempted to figure out how to use my Nikon through trial and error (I swear I'm going to find time to take a course this year), but still have a ways to go. Ventured out of auto-mode, but there are so many buttons to learn!

Once again we ate waaaay too many sweets

and didn't try nearly enough craft beers!

We did many more things that I didn't have a chance to write about,
this year I'm going try and blog more. I hope you don't mind.

2012 was a great year, I have no doubt that 2013 will be too.

Happy New Years!!

    1. Happy New Year!! I got the Nikon d3100 but now that I've had it for awhile I wish I had bought the d5100. I used my friends once and like how her model had more ISO options. Live and learn, live and learn!

  23. Your pics are gorgeous! Congrats on the journey to becoming a momma. This is truly a wonderful time that goes by very fast, so ENJOY it! Here's a veteran tip for ya: when you're too darn tired to get up in the middle of the night with that sweet baby, just pretend you're asleep so the hubs will getup instead. You may even want to fake-snore for added effect. heeeeee. ;)

    1. I like the nikon a lot better than my old point and shoot, now I'm kind of deciding whether to upgrade the body or get a better lens. Hopefully after a photography course I'll know the answer!
