On Saturday morning I got sucked into reading Stephen King's Full Dark, No Stars  (rainy days are great for for curling up with a book), then spent the afternoon with Jay dodging torrential downpours down town. In between getting gelato and checking out shops on Elgin, I stopped in the vintage store Gypsy & Company and tried on some sweet grandma dresses that were sadly either too big or too small. They had a good selection of clothing but the prices were a bit of a shock, they were a lot higher than the vintage stores I usually shop in! I really have my heart set on finding some vintage dresses for fall, so I took a look on Esty and had better luck :)

  2. Great look! You look so comfy and cool in this outfit. Love the dress and the clogs. I'm looking for a pair of clogs, but they need to be light and comfortable. How do you like the Steve Maddens?

    1. Hey Sylvia,

The Steve Maddens are comfortable but they're tricky to walk in because the heel is so high. Also if they had added cushing on the inside it would be a bit easer to wear them without socks. I have a pair of Jeffrey campell clog (sandals) and they're easier to walk in because of the cushioning. Either way I'm happy with my Steve Maddens they're pretty comfortable and light so I wear them quite a bit. hope that helps!

  19. This look sums up everything that I love about your style. The plaid shirt with that beautiful, girlish dress and then the coolness of your clogs and your headband, finished off with your awesome jewelery? Pure style perfect! (I really like how you have two rings on the one finger, I love how you've been wearing rings that don't over over the knuckle and fit halfway on your finger.)
